Vision and Mission

United Way 211 is a vital connection to community resources for our neighbors in Cuyahoga, Geauga, and Ross counties. Our social service professionals have extensive Community Resource Navigation training, which allows them to break down complex situations and help callers find the resources they need 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Every day, people call our 211 Navigators to access free and confidential crisis and emergency counseling, disaster assistance, food, health care and insurance assistance, stable housing and utility payment assistance, employment services, veteran services, and childcare and family services. No matter the situation, we listen, identify any underlying problems, and connect people in need with resources and services in their community.

At United Way 211, we are committed to maximizing the potential of those three digits for our clients, service providers, and the communities we call home. Whether the engagement with 211 starts with a phone call, chat, text, or in-person, we provide accurate and timely assessments, information, and service navigation to help people understand their options, resolve problems, and improve their lives.
