Resources for those seeking parenting or caregiving assistance, or other supports for the day-to-day care and safety of family members.
2-1-1 Community Resource Navigation Specialists can work with you to locate services that support family stability and the maintenance of that stability as the family grows or its composition changes. This includes case management and benefits screening, parenting classes, divorce and custody information, options for adult day and respite care, as well as adoption and foster care resources.
There are a wide array of supports available to help a family grow, change or simply maintain their current comfort and well-being. Benefits screening and assistance programs can help a family locate public assistance programs that may help to supplement household income or cover specific types of expenses.
There are programs to assist with both the legal and emotional aspects of separation, divorce or child custody. In some cases, general case management may be available to assist with issues relating to adoption, domestic violence, ex-offenders, families, health, homelessness, and substance abuse.
In the event that a family member suffers from a physical, developmental, emotional, and mental disability, screening programs can help identify the specific nature of the problem, and may suggest options for treatment or ongoing care. If necessary, caregiver assistance such as in-home care training, respite care, and adult day programs exist to help provide support and relief for family members or guardians.
There are also programs the help facilitate adoptions or foster care arrangements, including services for foster children aging out of care and into adulthood.
2-1-1's Community Resource Navigation Specialists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days to assist you in finding the best community resources to fit your needs.
